# Failures and corrections

- Build was initially invoked from the task root instead of the source directory: MODULE_NOT_FOUND for build.mjs. No source or deployed state changed. Corrected the working directory.
- First regression run: 21 passed, 1 failed. The old illustration-caption assertion expected “Illustrative paths”. Updated it to the new explicit “design illustration” wording. Raw output: first-tests.txt. No evidence was deleted.
- Browser pointer activation of the earlier Show the Record button did not reliably expand the record, while keyboard activation did. Replaced it with a native history anchor that opens the disclosure. Retest: pointer navigation reached the history and displayed both versions.
- Export UI initiated a download, but the in-app browser download-event wait timed out after 3 seconds. The final UI now says “Download requested”, not “Record exported”. File arrival is not claimed as verified.

Earlier September 29 runs, blocked attempts, and correction logs remain under docs/current and at their existing published URLs.
A documentation staging command also used task-relative paths from the source directory and failed to write its placeholders. Corrected paths before packaging; no publication occurred.
Evidence packaging run: 21/22 passed. The JavaScript MIME assertion also matched the downloadable record-model.js evidence copy, which intentionally uses text/plain. Updated the assertion to distinguish executable assets from source downloads; the failed run remains in packaging-first-tests.tap.
During the server-unavailable test, typing immediately after reload raced storage initialization and the save saw an empty editor. Waiting for Ready completed the test. The final editor is disabled until initialization finishes so early input cannot be overwritten by loading.
